!Cognitive biases of the different stakeholders : Don't blame the data

As product managers, we rely heavily on gathering data in order to make product and business-related decisions. But even with the best intentions at heart, many times our decision-making is affected by inherent biases and preconceived notions - not by empirical data.

This is a universal pain across organizations. 

 

In this talk, we will reveal the most prominent cognitive biases and explore mitigation tips to make better data-driven decisions.     First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you
    do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your
    head prior to writing. I've had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my
    ideas out. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like
    the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any
    recommendations or tips? Appreciate it!
